Allercide Dust Mite Spray

Allercide allergen motif

Dust mite spray patent application number GB1416136.8

Registered as a medical device to help control symptoms caused by allergy to dust mites

How does the dust mite spray work?

Allergens from dust mites are made of proteins.

It is the specific molecular shape of these proteins which determines whether or not they are allergens.

As the spray dries, the concentration of Allercide™ on the fabric increases, changing the shape of the proteins so they can no longer bind to antibodies responsible for triggering allergic reactions.

If the dust mite allergens are unable to bind to the antibodies then the allergic reaction can’t take place.

Allercide™ is designed to be used alongside your existing allergy avoidance routines including regular vacuum cleaning, damp dusting and using mattress covers.
